DARL provides acoustic certification of your building materials in line with Saf'at, Estidama and the Dubai Green Building regulations. Our team has over 20 years’ experience in the acoustic building industry and can assist with all facets of acoustical testing of building materials. We can help you meet laboratory acoustical performance requirements defined by specifiers, buyers or regulatory authorities.
DARL is the only EIAC-accredited (UAE Federal department for Laboratory accreditation) acoustic testing laboratory, and the only facility within the GCC built to test up to 95dB Rw\Sound Transmission Class (STC).
Associated with a UKAS accredited testing facility (Thomas Bell-wright Intl Consultants), DARL has achieved DAC accreditation (ISO 17025), ensuring all testing undertaken is in line with UKAS and NVLAP Acoustic Testing Procedures. Assisting compliance with LEED, Dubai Green Buildings, Estidama and GSAS requirements across the region.

Sound Insulation and Absorbancy Testing of internal partition systems, external facade, internal glazing, doors, mobile partitions to International certified (ISO 17025) standards.
The laboratory is capable of testing to Rw/STC 95+ dB.
Desktop based design and modelling of systems and system components in line with recognised ISO standards allow the DARL team to assist with potential improvements of products potentially saving time and money on repeat physical testing, and providing predictive modelling of new technologies.
Consultancy advice on all aspects of noise, vibration and acoustic design engineering, modelling, system analysis and research & development related projects.
DARL is accredited to ISO 17025 as assessed and audited under the EIAC and ILAC accreditation scheme
