The acoustical testing facility is in line with NVLAP Acoustical Testing Services assigned for ASTM C423, ASTM E 90, ASTM E 477, ASTM E 492, ANSI S12.31, ANSI S12.32 and ANSI S12.51.

ISO 10140 Results are calculated using BS EN ISO 717-1 - Rating of Sound Insulation in Buildings and of Building Elements.
Turnaround times of our tests are typically less than one week from receipt of sample to issuing of test report.

Sound Insulation and Absorbancy Testing of internal partition systems, external facade, internal glazing, doors, mobile partitions to International certified (ISO 17025) standards.
The laboratory is capable of testing to Rw/STC 95+ dB.
Desktop based design and modelling of systems and system components in line with recognised ISO standards allow the DARL team to assist with potential improvements of products potentially saving time and money on repeat physical testing, and providing predictive modelling of new technologies.
Consultancy advice on all aspects of noise, vibration and acoustic design engineering, modelling, system analysis and research & development related projects.
DARL is accredited to ISO 17025 as assessed and audited under the EIAC and ILAC accreditation scheme
